Day of Cyber at the Science Museum
MnC3 is organizing a MN Day of Cyber with 100 high school and middle school students in collaboration with Science Museum of MN on December 16, 2017 at the Science Museum. The event is partially funded by the Central MN Initiative Foundation and St Cloud State University. Details of the event will be posted soon.
MnC3 Members Summer Meeting
The Consortium will be coming together for the MnC3 Members Summer Meeting on Friday, June 10, 8:15 – 10:30 am. The event will be held at the St. Cloud State University Graduate Center in Maple Grove, MN.
New Directions in IT Education Conference
The annual conference presented with MnC3 partner Advance IT Minnesota provides an opportunity for faculty members to work with industry experts to address the need for more rapidly growing Minnesota talent in cybersecurity and other IT/computing disciplines. The 2016 New Directions in IT Education conference is slated for May 19-20, 2016.

The Consortium is assembling industry and government leaders on Friday, November 13, 8:30 -10:30 am, to develop a near-term work plan for the Consortium, and seek the invitees’ guidance on feasible short and long term efforts.

Women in Cyber Security workshop
Dr. Tirthankar Ghosh received a grant from Advanced IT Minnesota to organize workshops on Women In Cyber Security at SCSU. The first workshop was held on SCSU campus in April 2015. Dr. Ghosh and his female students in the IT Security program are working to organize the second workshop in March/April 2016. The workshops are primarily organized by female students in the Information Technology Security program under the guidance of Dr. Ghosh.
Dr. Ghosh and his CyberCorps student scholars are organizing a community event at St Cloud Public Library on October 28 to educate the broader community on cyber threats and safety measures.
